About The Position

We seek a classroom instructor to prepare students to take the written permit test to become Class B Commercial Drivers. This is a per diem part-time position. Flexible based upon the qualified teachers schedule. There are many other requirements but if the aforementioned requirements are met, we would like to speak with you. If the applicant does not currently have their driver education instructor license but meets all the other requirements we would consider training the right candidate. A list of the full requirements as mandated by the State of Maine can be emailed upon request. The driving instruction will be done in tandem with CMCC on their Auburn campus.

Requirements

• Driver education instructor license
• 22 years of age and has a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Maine DOE Certification (Background Check) or ability to obtain CHRC
• Valid license
• 6 years of driving experience as a licensed CDL Class A or B operator
