The position involves providing administrative assistance to the music department at Northwest Shoals Community College. Responsibilities include providing piano accompaniment for rehearsals and performances related to concerts, musicals, and other productions. The role also requires assisting in coordinating rehearsals, including scheduling, set-up, and communication with cast members. Additionally, the position supports the Music Instructor in organizing and preparing sheet music, scores, and accompaniment parts for productions, and helps manage backstage and performance logistics during concerts and musicals. The candidate will assist with the set-up and take-down of instruments, sound equipment, and performance areas, collaborate with staff, students, and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of events, and perform other duties related to rehearsals and performances as assigned.
