Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least one year experience in lesson planning, lesson delivery, evaluation and/or remediation in a health care setting.
  • Two to four years of instructional experience related to field of instruction.
  • Thorough knowledge of developing relevant curricula.
  • Knowledge of and experience with personal computers and peripherals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, motivated and results driven.
  • Willingness and desire to provide a superior experience to our students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course curriculum as outlined.
  • Use the companion instructor's guide and workbook to prepare students to sit for National and State exams.
  • Maintain accurate records on all students, including attendance records, quiz/assessment results, schedules and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.
  • Evaluate and document student progress through testing, observation and assessment of skills.
  • Communicate effectively with students and all those affiliated with the course.
  • Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation and interpersonal skills development.
  • Potential to teach daytime and evening hours.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
