About The Position
Bullitt Lick Middle School is seeking a highly qualified instructional tutor to provide supports across content areas (reading, writing, and math interventions, carryover supports to science and social studies) to students in tiered interventions for behavior and/or academics. The successful candidate must be: Believe that all students can learn, Believe in supporting the needs of the whole child, Knowledgeable of KY Academic Standards in all content areas at all grade levels, Knowledgeable of behavior interventions, Knowledgeable of and able to implement best instructional practices, Able to partner with the MTSS coach, instructional coach, certified classroom teachers, and other classified instructional assistants in a collaborative setting to support the learning of struggling students, Self-initiating, Able to instruct and work independently without direct supervision, Positive, Flexible, Patient, Team worker, Regular in attendance and punctual, Good with details and record keeping, Organized, Supportive of the total school program, Knowledge of trauma informed and restorative practices preferred.
