About The Position

The Instructional Design and Technology Specialist II – Course Support will maintain quality online courses by providing course enhancements in RISE, faculty consultations, and just-in-time technical support. This individual will assist faculty with updating instructional materials, accessible documents, videos, and/or other resources for courses in an Learning Management System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, use RISE or other tools expertly, and have a solid understanding of online pedagogy. This is a grant position funded until 9/7/2027.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance/update/create courses using RISE.
  • Meet key performance indicators associated with faculty support services and meet deadlines for updated module releases.
  • Maintain course content created by the previous Instructional Designer with proper versioning.
  • Execute a variety of technical functions to assist in the training and support of the online modules.
  • Assist with special projects/initiatives, including those related to quality assurance reviews, online instructional design
