Viterbo University is accepting applications for a forward-thinking Instructional Support/Audio Visual Technologist to join our dynamic Information and Instructional Technology team. This full-time, exempt position plays a critical role in transforming the teaching and learning experience through innovative use of educational and audio-visual technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty and staff to design, implement, and support technology solutions that enhance classroom instruction, online learning, and campus-wide engagement. From maintaining A/V systems to supporting the University's learning management platform, this position combines technical expertise with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and exceptional service in support of academic excellence. The primary role of the Instructional Support/Audio Visual Technologist is to collaborate with faculty to effectively integrate use of technology, enhancing teaching and learning in courses/classrooms. Bridges work of the library, and instructional design working on and recommending technology-based solutions that improve ongoing University operations and facilitate completion of projects. Expertise spans many areas of instructional technology support including a high degree of knowledge in the areas of Learning Management System, web conferencing, interactive applications, video production, and Microsoft Office applications. Support and install audio visual spaces, classrooms/conferencing, for use by university community.
