About The Position
The Coos Bay School District is accepting applications for experienced Instructional Specialists for the 2025-2026 School Year. This is a full-time, represented licensed position. The Instructional Specialist within the Special Education Department is responsible for delivering high-quality targeted instruction as prescribed by the Special Education Case Manager. The specialist will employ evidence-based practices and strategies to address specific learning challenges and ensure all students have access to appropriate educational opportunities. This role is primarily responsible for direct instruction aligned with student goals, facilitates collaboration between special and general education staff, and supports compliance of IEP services.
