The Ventura County Office of Education is seeking candidates for a position that requires a combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to a BA/BS Degree from a college or university. The role involves working with children who have social-emotional and behavioral needs, as well as students with special needs. Candidates must have two years of successful experience in a paid or volunteer position in this area, utilizing appropriate academic and behavioral strategies. Additionally, candidates must hold a SELPA-approved Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention (NCPI) Certification and have experience in data collection, report writing, and presenting reports. One year of the experience requirement may be substituted with a bachelor's degree in Social/Behavioral Science, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
