SchoolKit is seeking part-time Instructional Leadership Coaches in Tennessee to support our work with 6-12 school districts across the state. As a part-time Instructional Leadership Coach, you will provide remote and onsite coaching to school and district leaders as they adopt and implement high-quality instructional materials in 6-12 Literacy. Coaches will use SchoolKit’s tools and approach to help leaders deepen their knowledge of 6-12 ELA and engage in instructional leadership activities (leading teacher planning, conducting observations and providing feedback, responding to student data, etc) to strengthen teaching and learning in their buildings. Additionally, coaches will facilitate annual full- and half-day trainings (remote and onsite) that are focused on evidence-based practices for instruction in 6-12 ELA and HQIM implementation best practices. Total time commitment for this school year will depend on a combination of district assignment/s (may include multiple), training schedules, and coach availability, but is likely to include 18-20 onsite support days from March 1 - June, with additional virtual training and administrative time of around 30 hours per assignment. Time commitment for subsequent school years will be TBD.
