About The Position

Instructional Faculty - English This position offices in-person, on campus ROLE SUMMARY An Instructional Faculty member in the English Department at Valor Christian High School demonstrates strong competency across English curricula and collaborates closely with the English team to design consistent assessments and deliver effective instruction. They prepare students to become Christ-centered leaders by integrating Biblical truth and Christian values into daily teaching. Faculty demonstrate a vibrant personal faith, love students well, and cultivate respectful, engaging classrooms that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. They also mentor students spiritually, emotionally, and academically through Life Groups, prayer partnerships, and co-curricular opportunities, partnering with parents and colleagues to support holistic student growth and achievement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline closely related to the subject(s) to be taught
  • Solid biblical and theological foundation and understanding
  • Desire to teach and/or experience within Christian education

  • Advanced Degree in an English-related area is preferred
