About The Position

Sigma Defense is currently seeking an Instructional Developer (ID) to support the full spectrum of the Navy’s Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) curriculum development requirements. The individual selected shall have 8 or more years of recent Intelligence Strike and/or Targeting experience, have completed at least one tour afloat, completed at least one tour as an instructor, and have been awarded the Enlisted Intelligence Specialist (IS) K23A NEC and/or Information Warfare Intelligence Officer 183x designator. Requirements

  • 8+ years of recent Intelligence Strike and/or Targeting experience.
  • Completed at least one tour afloat and completed at least one tour as an instructor.
  • Awarded the Enlisted Intelligence Specialist (IS) K23A NEC and/or Information Warfare Intelligence Officer 183x designator.
  • Knowledge and skill in interpersonal communication with civilian and military personnel, including oral briefings/presentations, listening techniques, and developing written material, especially technical reports documenting research and analysis performed (eg MIL-PRF-291612 and MIL-HDBK-29612).
  • 3+ years of experience creating performance based technical training to include practical applications and assessments to measure training performance and knowledge retention.
  • Practical knowledge of DoD and Navy guidance documents used in the development of task-based curriculum.
  • Knowledge of learning tools, modalities, and the ability to select teaching methods appropriate for course audience.
  • Knowledge of measurement tools/methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
  • Experience and proficiency using Content Planning Module (CPM), Learning Object Module (LOM), and MOODLE to develop, update, manage, and integrate training content.
  • Practical experience in developing curriculum IAW Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) guidelines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Computer Programs/Software: Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office Software
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI w/ FS Poly security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create Instructional Media Materials (IMM) in support of content development/revision efforts.
  • IMM products may include PowerPoint Graphics, digital images, animations, videography, graphics, and digital images that enrich the student learning experience.
