The Embry-Riddle Instructional Design and Development Internship Program is aimed at recognizing emerging talent within the field of instructional design for online learning in higher education. Instructional design interns will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with their instructional designers, directors, media producers, and digital media specialists. The IDD team is dedicated to providing an experience that allows for the intern to gain higher education experience by assigning them to course production projects that are critical to their team’s success. Over the course of this internship program, the IDD intern will get hands-on experience and learn about the intricacies of instructional design in a creative, dynamic work environment. Each intern will work closely with their mentor at the beginning of the internship to identify their particular goals to achieve. Specific projects will be assigned based on these goals. Interns will be compensated bi-weekly over the course of the internship.
