About The Position

Knox Warren Special Education District is seeking an Instructional Coach to provide support to special education personnel across the cooperative. The instructional coach will provide instructional support, instructional coaching, curriculum adaptation support, co-teaching support, and model such skills for teachers.

Requirements

• Appropriate PEL from ISBE
• Two years instructional coaching experience or more preferred
• Experience teaching or co-teaching students with special needs
• Experience with implementation of Individual Education Plans either as a special educator or general education teacher.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to special education personnel.
• Offer instructional coaching to enhance teaching practices.
• Assist in curriculum adaptation to meet diverse student needs.
• Support co-teaching initiatives within the district.
• Model effective instructional strategies for teachers.
