About The Position
The Instructional Coach position is a district-wide teaching role aimed at building positive relationships with students, families, staff, and the greater Ashland community. The coach will provide high-quality instruction to students and engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. The role requires presenting a positive image in contact with parents, the community, and staff while properly handling confidential matters relating to students and school-related issues. The instructional coach uses specialized knowledge, educational training, and experience to strengthen the skills of classroom teachers and support staff to increase student achievement.
