About The Position

We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. Responsible for providing peer observations and providing documentation to teacher and Q Comp Advisor documenting teacher observation, data and other evidence required by the Q Comp plan. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education, master’s degree preferred, and valid Minnesota teacher’s license
Tenured STMA teacher with a minimum of seven years teaching and five years in the district or previous Q Comp experience in another district
Displays a knowledge of effective, evidence-based teaching practices and employs those practices in his or her role (teacher, counselor, psychologist, etc.)
Demonstrates ability to use data for instructional planning and to participate effectively in a Professional Learning Community (PLC)
Effective communication
Demonstrates organizational and time management skills
Effective interpersonal relationship skills
Knowledge of a broad base of instructional strategies and practices that promote student learning
