About The Position
The Instructional Associate - Tool Room, Welding and Mechatronics at Hartnell Community College is responsible for controlling parts, tools, and supplies in an instructional lab setting. This role involves assisting students with technical instructions on the safe use of power equipment and hand tools under the direction of the Dean of Academic Affairs. The position is full-time and based at the Alisal Campus in Salinas, California. The associate will check supplies in and out, maintain records, set up equipment, perform repairs, and ensure the safe operation of tools and machinery. The role also includes maintaining the toolroom's security and order, as well as requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
