About The Position

St. Thomas More Cathedral School is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This is an hourly, full-time position, 7:30am-3:30pm. The Instructional Assistant will support and assist the lead teachers in classroom preparation, execution of daily lessons, and classroom management. Duties include working with students in small groups, supervising students, and monitoring daily outside recess breaks. Ideal candidates will be practicing Catholics with a devotion for education and working with children. St. Thomas More Cathedral School is a U. S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and a Virginia Distinguished Purple Star School.
