Instructional Assistant (174 Day): SpEd/1:1(PT)
About The Position
The Instructional Assistant (SPED/1:1) is responsible for assisting the Teacher to provide a self-contained special education classroom. The 1:1 Assistant will work individually with special needs students, provide toileting and feeding assistance as needed. This part time position will work 29.5 hours per week and DOES NOT include benefits. Applicants must have two (2) years college coursework, a college degree, or pass the ParaPro Assessment. CPR Certification Required AND Specified Medication Trained (or willingness to become Certified/Trained in both). Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
Requirements
