About The Position

The Instructional Assistant (Special Education) is responsible for providing assistance to the Teacher. Duties could involve giving specialized academic and physical training to students including those with disabilities. This part time position will work 29.5 hours per week and DOES NOT include benefits. Applicants must have two (2) years college coursework, a college degree, or pass the ParaPro Assessment. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
