About The Position

The Instructional Assistant - Technology provides technological support for students and staff, which includes training, assistance with decision-making, and maintenance of hardware and software. This role is essential in developing and promoting good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities

• Upgrade, maintain, inventory, and make purchase recommendations on computer hardware and software.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Maintain and administer the building Local Data Network (LAN).
• May develop and maintain school website page.
• Coordinate and provide training for staff to gain appropriate skills for the effective use of the District technology systems, as outlined in the District Technology Plan.
• Research and make recommendations regarding overall technology needs.
• Repair and upgrade the building computers and provide troubleshooting for hardware and software problems.
• Under the direction of certified staff, plan and deliver instruction to students in computer labs and other situations for the purpose of assessing the skills and knowledge outlined in the District Technology Plan.
