The Carlsbad Unified School District is seeking candidates who are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the rich diversity of our students. The position requires a valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Candidates must meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements, which can be satisfied through one of two options: Option 1 involves the completion of at least 48 semester units of study at an accredited college or obtaining an Associate's degree (or higher). Option 2 requires candidates to complete and pass an assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics, or readiness in these subjects.
