About the position
The position is for an Assistant Teacher under the CSEA Salary Schedule, Range 5, with a monthly salary range of $2,202.37 to $2,811.12. The role requires six (6) units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development and experience in a child care center is preferred. The incumbent must work towards and complete the requirements for an Associate Teacher Permit within twelve months of hire. Additionally, possession of or the ability to obtain an Assistant Permit and a valid California Class C driver's license is required.
Requirements

- Experience working in a child care center preferred.
- Must be working towards and complete the requirements for an Associate Teacher Permit within twelve months of hire.
- Possession of or ability to obtain an Assistant Permit.
