About The Position
The Vista Unified School District (VUSD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instructional Assistant. This position is open continuously, allowing for the creation of an Eligibility List that will be utilized to fill current vacancies, provide substitutes, and address any future vacancies that may arise within one year. Candidates must meet specific qualifications and will undergo a selection process that may include evaluations, written tests, oral interviews, and performance tests to assess their skills, training, and experience. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting, and a physical exam, with the district covering the costs of the physical and drug screening. However, candidates are responsible for a $40 fingerprinting fee.
