About The Position
Help meet the physical and educational needs of individual students with disabilities both inside and outside of the classroom. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs. Work under the general supervision of the principal.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Ability to work well with children with and without disabilites
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Nice To Haves
- Some experience working with children is preferred
