About The Position

We are seeking a Resource Aide to assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and providing support to students with special learning needs in an educational setting. The Instructional Aide will work closely with teachers to reinforce lessons, supervise students, and assist with classroom management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Experience with students with learning challenges is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Patience and empathy when working with students who may require additional support.
• Familiarity with educational technology and software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and setting up equipment for lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Monitor students during class, recess, and other activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Help enforce classroom rules and behavior expectations.
• Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and communicate any concerns or observations.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the classroom.
