About The Position
The Instructional Aide Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) will provide instructional support for students grades 9-12 specifically in drama courses. The incumbent will be assigned to work with individual or small groups of students to support access to arts content. In this role, you will receive the opportunity to build relationships with students and work under the guidance of a credentialed performing arts teacher. Green Dot California classified personnel have union representation as members of the Ánimo Classified Employees Association (ACEA), an affiliate of the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the National Education Association (NEA). Please note, while there is no end date for this position, it is grant-funded and may be discontinued as a result of a reduction in programmatic funding.
