About The Position
Provide an optimal learning environment for children ages 15 months through 5 years in a childcare center and assist Child Care Center Associates.
Requirements
- High school diploma
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in childhood education is preferred
- Experience working with small children in a childcare setting is desirable.
- CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and implementing daily lesson plans and resource units.
- Assist in gathering lesson and resource materials.
- Arrange the general layout of the classroom and various learning/activity areas.
- Dispense snacks and meals to children per health and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate and supervise outdoor activities.
- Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for all children.
- Lead daily learning activities, naps, and exercises.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Adhere to childcare policies and licensing regulations.
