This position will support Instructor of Record for VN courses by helping to deliver instruction in Veterinary Nursing On-campus courses, assisting in on-campus VN teaching laboratories, and developing additional course materials (objectives, evaluations, instructional material) as needed. This role supports the Veterinary Nursing Program through a wide range of instructional, administrative, and outreach responsibilities. It includes assisting in on-campus veterinary nursing laboratories to ensure a safe and effective learning environment for students and live animals, with tasks such as lab setup and breakdown, supporting learning activities, and aiding in student assessment and grading. The individual serves as co-chair of the Pet Professor Program and contributes to numerous laboratory courses across small and large animal nursing, dentistry, surgical nursing, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, parasitology, anatomy, physiology, and lab animal care. As a principal instructor for designated VNRS courses, responsibilities include developing syllabi, managing online course platforms, engaging with students, grading, and ensuring course content reflects current scientific standards. The role also involves leading a summer study abroad experience, supporting Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning summer workshops, and performing educational and administrative duties as assigned by the Program Director.
