About The Position

Join Worldwide Grocery Stores in reshaping the future of grocery shopping for
our customers. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Instock Manager
with a strong customer focus to manage inventory planning and project
management.

The Instock Manager will oversee long-range demand and supply planning specific
to Amazon Grocery Private Brands, drive analysis and optimization of inventory
management systems and processes to ensure world-class inventory availability
and health.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional or military experience, or Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
• 2+ years of with Excel experience, or Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of professional work experience, or experience in SQL or other relational databases
• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
• Experience with process improvement, Kaizan, and Six Sigma, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

Responsibilities

• Demand and supply planning for Private Brands, with expansion into National Brands as the program grows. Key performance indicators include forecast accuracy and supplier fill rate.
• Manage inventory availability and inventory health through buying strategies, vendor operational improvements (fill rates, on-time, lead time), forecasting and shrink reduction.
• Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business.
• Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows
• Deep dive Instock performance to develop insights and represent this perspective in discussions with stakeholders across the organization.
