About The Position

At Regions, the Institutional Trust Relationship Consultant retains and develops relationships and associated revenue for a group of accounts, which may include Retirement Plan, Investment Management Agency, Endowments/Foundations, Custody, and/or Funeral Cemetery Trust accounts. This position plays a key role in assisting Regions with meeting client needs, providing deeper client relationships across multiple business groups, and growing Non-Interest Revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of experience
  • Or High School Diploma with three (3) years of experience
  • Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret legal and financial documents
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of general finance and portfolio management concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the investment, Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and custody industry
  • Background in Institutional Trust Administration and Investments

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional service for client relationships, including following issues through to resolution, meeting deadlines, and anticipating operational client needs including future opportunities and risks
  • Coordinates client service activities with other areas of the organization
  • Understands clients' objectives and identifies and provides alternatives to appropriate stakeholders
  • Develops knowledge and understanding of Regions’ products and services, including retirement, investment management, endowment and foundations, funeral trust, and corporate trust
  • Determines the financial viability and associated risks of client business
  • Performs duties in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures and Institutional Services Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulations
