Institutional Trader / Sales & Trading Analyst
About The Position
Flow Traders is looking for an Institutional Trader to join our Institutional Trading team in New York. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a results-oriented environment. We value quick-witted, creative minds and challenge them to make full use of their capacities. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day sales trading operations, including client reporting. They will work closely with our trading desks to assist in trade pricing and execution as well as with our risk, trade settlements, and compliance teams.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in sales trading
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, preferably finance, economics, and business
- Trading and markets knowledge
- Detail oriented and problem solving
- Ability to analyze and solve complex scenarios
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proven analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- SQL/Python a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day execution and sales trading responsibilities
- Support the institutional offering and act as the intermediary between our clients and internal departments, including trading, trade settlements, risk, and compliance
- Manage pre- & post-trade processes
- Manage internal & external reporting
