About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Nonprofit Management or equivalent work experience in non-profit development.
  • 1-2 years of development and fundraising experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven record of community outreach and fundraising ability.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, particularly Raisers Edge NXT, is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in event planning and oversight of large-scale volunteer opportunities.
  • Positive personality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Institutional Giving in soliciting and recruiting sponsorship dollars from corporate and faith communities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing donors, managing sponsorships ranging from $5,000 to $40,000.
  • Assist with special events and fundraising initiatives, including Women Build and Neighborhood Revitalization projects.
  • Represent Habitat Central Arizona at corporate and faith sponsor events to educate and engage potential donors.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and sponsors to foster long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate large volunteer opportunities for sponsored events, managing 50+ volunteers.
  • Organize and attend fundraising events, wall signing ceremonies, and home dedications, including some nights and weekends.
  • Oversee communication between sponsors and various departments to ensure project execution.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create materials that inform sponsors about Habitat programs and sponsorship benefits.
  • Update and maintain the Raisers Edge NXT database and Grant Hub for accurate donor information.
