About The Position

We are seeking an Institutional Commodities Sales Executive Director to join our Commodities team in CIB. In this role, you will: Provide intraday, daily coverage to Commodities clients including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Banks, and Insurance Companies. Identify, acquire, and grow new relationships within the target market. Possess working knowledge of a wide variety of Commodity instruments including Forwards, Swaps, Exchange-Traded Instruments, Options, and Physical. Work to design and implement client coverage strategies in collaboration with Commodities Sales & Trading and coverage partners such as FIG and GICG develop concrete client specific plans to increase market share and flow, disseminate the firm’s intellectual content in an accurate and timely fashion, and assist in building connectivity between Commodities trading / leadership team and key decision makers at the aforementioned clients Work with internal partners including compliance, legal, and documentation to ensure our approach adapts to the ever-changing market structure and regulatory landscape

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commodities institutional sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, a desire and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Extensive and direct coverage experience of one or more client verticals including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Banks, and Insurance Companies
  • Outstanding knowledge of Commodities products across all Commodities sub-asset classes and applicability in the context of the aforementioned client base
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
