About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Instant Return Representative to assist customers with the express return process. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional vehicle return experience. In this position, you will greet returning customers, inspect vehicles, document key information, maintain lot organization, and provide helpful guidance—all while delivering excellent customer service. Schedule: Sun-1PM-9pm Mon-OFF Tues-OFF Wed-1PM-9pm Thurs-1PM-9pm Fri- 1PM-9pm Sat- 1PM-9pm

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Self-motivated with a goal-driven attitude
  • Ability to meet sales quotas and maintain solid closing percentages
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers as they return their rental vehicles.
  • Provide additional customer support as needed, such as offering directions or helping with luggage.
  • Promote product sales when appropriate.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle checks, including:
  • Verifying fuel levels
  • Assessing vehicle cleanliness
  • Recording accurate mileage
  • Identifying and reporting damages immediately and communicating with customers as needed
  • Retrieve and account for portable GPS units and other equipment.
  • Assist customers with lost or forgotten items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Enter accurate return information into company systems.
  • Follow all established car-return procedures and additional tasks assigned by leadership.
