About The Position

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Pulling cable and grooming cableways.
Packing Multi Cable Transits (MCT) and banding cables.
Must be able to learn engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, schematics and follow written/verbal instructions.
Perform as a productive team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor and lead.
Maintain records, forms, and logs as required.
Perform job duties with the use of basic hand tools such as screw drivers, pliers, wire cutters, drill motors, sand and grinding tools, etc.
May instruct and mentor less-experienced team members, as assigned.
Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 -3 years of technical experience.
• Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic shop mathematics.
• Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible.
• General understanding of metric measuring system.
• High school diploma, GED certificate, or pass a GED equivalency test

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read blueprints, shop orders, sketches, and drawings is a plus.
• Experience on naval craft/vessels is a plus.
