About The Position

As a Main Accessory Installer at GST's Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), you will play a critical role in delivering customized Toyota vehicles that exceed customer and dealer expectations. Under the direction of a Manager or Supervisor, you will prepare vehicles and install a wide range of accessories-such as running boards, fender flares, alarm systems, navigation systems, LED accent lighting, leather seats, and more. With over 80 accessory options, your work directly supports our commitment to quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. In addition to installation duties, you will also move vehicles to designated areas within and around the Main building.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 6 months -3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education of experience
  • Demonstrated drive for results with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes efficiently
  • Strong customer focus, ensuring satisfaction through attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with sound, timely decision-making in dynamic environments
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
  • Quality Improvement Awareness-Developing Required
  • Lean Manufacturing Awareness-Developing Required

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate all Toyota vehicle models in various conditions-day, night, and inclement weather
  • Follow all safety rules, use protective gear, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace. Report accidents immediately
  • Consistently meet and exceed productivity and quality benchmarks
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and job-specific instructions
  • Properly use, care for, and safeguard shop tools and equipment
  • Enter essential information into the shop database promptly and accurately
  • Prepare vehicles and install a wide range of accessories efficiently and correctly
  • Retrieve correct parts, log receipt, and ensure proper storage or turnover of replaced items
  • Use proper installation techniques and equipment to ensure fit, function, and visual quality
  • Inspect completed work thoroughly to meet high quality standards
  • Place the correct printed materials in vehicles and scan installed accessories after verification
  • Park vehicles according to Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) Audit Criteria-including key placement, alignment, and spacing
  • Execute duties in line with GST policies, TMS standards, and all applicable federal and state laws
