About The Position

We have an immediate opening for a qualified Installer who will be responsible
for helping and aiding the assigned Journeyman. This individual will need to be
willing to learn and follow detailed instructions. The right candidate will
install signs of all sizes and mediums on poles, buildings, and other structures
using a wide range of tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools (i.e., drills, hammer drills, impacts, tape measure, etc.)
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts or scaffolding.
• Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet.
• Must have a professional set of hand tools or willing to obtain one.
• Must be available for extended travel to job sites
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record; CDL not required but preferred or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

• Be able to work outside in the elements more frequently
• Be able to lift 80 lbs frequently
• Full Time Position
• Early morning starts and some travel.
• Frequently exposed to the outside elements
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• This position requires you to walk, standing, stooping, and bending for multiple hours of the day.
• Must not have a fear of heights
• Must not have a fear of tight spaces

Nice To Haves

• Previous sign installation experience preferred but not required.
• Previous general construction experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Confirms signs accurately conform to the work order (i.e., spelling, medium, size, etc.)
• Helps load/unload and transport signs to installation location.
• Prepares worksite by removing previous signage, preparing surfaces, and ensuring all electrical sources are in order (if applicable)
• Follows all safety policies and procedures during preparation and installation.
• Installs signs in strict compliance with the work order.
• Cleans installation site when work is complete.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Operate heavy machinery including crane and bucket truck.
