About The Position

AFS, A Groundworks Company, specializes in helping homeowners with their foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete needs. Our top priority is providing high-quality home repair solutions and personalized service across the Nation. With fully trained technicians, industry-leading products, and nationally backed warranties, Groundworks is here to restore your foundation or crawlspace. We are hiring Installers (Construction General Laborers) in Nashville. The Installer is a vital member of our crew and will travel (in a company-provided vehicle) to homes in the general area to install foundation repair, crawl space encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and concrete lifting solutions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
• Excellent stamina.
• Ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens.

• Installing products and services under the supervision of trained professionals.

• Listening well and following instructions closely.
• Grinding it out every day knowing that hard work is rewarded.
• Loading and delivering materials from the warehouse to the work site.
• Performing set-up and clean-up tasks at the work site.
• Digging and back-filling trenches/holes when necessary.
• Lifting heavy objects.
• Walking and standing for long periods of time.
• Performing strenuous labor often under adverse conditions.
• Entering crawl spaces and other confined areas.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
