About The Position

This position will be responsible for the proper fabrication and assembling of metal parts and structures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication, welding or machining
• 1 to 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
• Ability to multi-task and work within specified timeframes
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
• Current Forklift certification required

Nice To Haves

• Ability to problem-solve a plus
• Previous work experience in the construction or distribution industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures according to technical drawings and quality standards
• Loads and logs materials onto truck and documents returned materials
• Able to read templates as per job specifications
• Drill and install all hardware accurately as per job specifications
• Attach all necessary hardware correctly as per job specifications
• Inspect finished products for accuracy
• Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives
