About The Position

Gropen Inc. is seeking an Installer with electrical experience to join our installation team. This role focuses on signage and exhibit installations requiring electrical expertise, including lighting integration, LED systems, and power connections. The ideal candidate will bring both technical electrical knowledge and an eye for clean, safe, and professional installations. Please note this role requires 30-40% travel

Requirements

Licensed electrician or proven electrical installation experience (signage/electrical background preferred).
Knowledge of LED systems, transformers, and low-voltage wiring.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work safely with electrical tools and testing equipment.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights when required.

Responsibilities

Install and connect illuminated signage, displays, and exhibits.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation plans.
Safely perform wiring, low-voltage, and lighting installations.
Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation.
Aid in the fabrication of electrical components of signage.
Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure successful completion.
Responsible for the installation of a variety of interior and exterior signs, graphics, and displays
Installation of cut vinyl graphics, room signs, dimensional lettering, and large wall graphics
Installation of exterior post and panel signs
Courteous and professional interaction with clients on-site
Maintain clean vehicles and work environments
Effective time management, and ability to work overtime when needed to meet project deadlines
