About The Position

The Installer Apprentice position at American Air Heating & Air Conditioning is an entry-level role focused on the installation of heating and air conditioning systems. Requirements

• Insurable by the Company insurance carrier.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings.
• Safe use of ladders.
• Compliance with all safety rules.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Reliable with punctual daily attendance.
• Dress in a workmanlike manner.
• Ability to use a hammer.
• Ability to unload/stock supplies and equipment.
• Ability to load/unload truck.
• Ability to cut and drill holes.
• Ability to accurately fill out a daily timecard.
• Physically capable of carrying up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to insulate ductwork.
• Ability to build platforms.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle as required.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks promptly.
• Report any issues with tools or vehicles immediately.
• Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and job site.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
