About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Field Installer with experience in mobile electronics, GPS tracking systems, and multi-camera vehicle video systems. This role focuses on hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and field deployment support across West Coast operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in mobile electronics or fleet installation
- Experience with telematics and vehicle camera systems
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and reporting software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Install GPS tracking systems, dash cameras, and multi-camera video systems
- Perform wiring integration on 12V and 24V vehicle systems
- Work with CAN bus, J1939, OBD-II, ignition, and relay triggers
- Conduct system testing and quality control checks
- Troubleshoot technical issues onsite and remotely
- Complete digital documentation and job reporting
- Maintain clean, organized installation practices
- Communicate effectively with operations and scheduling teams
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
