About The Position

The Installation Technician is responsible for installing custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. This role involves skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work, utilizing company-provided CAD drawings/blueprints, and assembling and installing systems of varying complexity. The technician will also assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes, maintain shop tools and equipment, and provide a high level of customer service during in-home installations. Safety standards must be maintained at all times, and the technician will be responsible for driving company-provided vehicles to and from customer sites safely. The position requires experience with hand and power tools, measurements, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with common hand and power tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch

Nice To Haves

  • Trade or vocational school experience desirable
  • Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
  • Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
  • Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
  • Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
  • Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order (tools are provided).
  • Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
  • Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
  • Maintain safety standards at all time.
  • Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
