The Homeland Group/Aviation, Borders, and Security division at Leidos currently has an opening for an Installation Technician – Commercial/International Security and Computer Network Systems to work remotely. This is an exciting position where you can use your experience installing and upgrading Explosive Detection Systems, Checkpoint Security systems, and computer networked screening systems for federal and commercial sites, globally. Our mission is to travel weekly to the customer site and perform installation and integration with security screening systems, or interconnect between our own Leidos systems. You must be team oriented and flexible and actively seek to share information and assist one’s peers. Expect 100% weekly travel; primarily domestic, future international travel can be expected. Most weekends are off at home but can be sent to customer site for up to three-weeks at a time. Must be flexible to work days and nights. Possesses excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Demonstrates strong electronic repair troubleshooting methodology and maintains an expert technical level of product knowledge after training. Be ethical and professional, act with integrity.
