About The Position

This role is for an Installation Technician who will be responsible for introducing customers to AT&T's robust network and delivering best-in-class service. The technician will elevate the customer experience by providing seamless installation and activation of state-of-the-art technology, connecting customers to essential services. A typical day involves working independently at customer homes and businesses, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services, solving problems, and performing tasks like putting in new lines, climbing ladders, and activating Wi-Fi networks. AT&T, founded by Alexander Graham Bell nearly 150 years ago, is a pioneer in making connections, helping families, communities, and businesses thrive with products and services like 5G and Fiber.

Requirements

  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Lift and move up-to 60 lbs.
  • Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
  • At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.).
  • Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
  • Identify wire and cable colors.
  • Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Perform tasks such as putting in new lines, climbing ladders, and plugging in and activating Wi-Fi networks.
