About The Position

Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment. Our offering of comprehensive mechanical services includes hot side cooking equipment, stand-alone refrigeration, specialty coffee and beverage, complex rack refrigeration and HVAC. Requirements

  • General building and tool experience is required.
  • Ability to travel out of town and work nights when needed.
  • Willingness to perform all aspects of supermarket installation.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial and/or supermarket refrigeration experience is preferred.
  • Brazing experience is preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities.
  • A certificate from a technical or trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial refrigeration systems and related equipment to manufacturer specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and other documents related to installations.
  • Perform regular service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Be safety-conscious by adhering to OSHA guidelines and practicing proper safety protocols on all job sites.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive, cooperative work environment.
  • Improve installation and brazing techniques continually to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing clear, friendly, and professional communication.
  • Stay up to date on services and solutions offered by the company.
  • Work diligently to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
