About The Position

As a Security Installation Technician II, you will be responsible for advanced installations, system upgrades, and complex troubleshooting. This role requires a high level of expertise and leadership in security system installation and maintenance. What you’ll be doing (and doing well!): Lead the installation and commissioning of sophisticated security systems and integrations. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex security systems. Provide expert guidance to clients on system operation and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for installations and service calls. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in security system installation or a related field.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of security systems and network integration.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor and train others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CSAA, ASIS) preferred in 1 – 2 product lines or professional credentials
  • Experience with high-security installations and complex system integrations.
  • Certification in 1 – 2 product lines
