About The Position
The Installation Technician is responsible for structured cabling, installation of total integrated voice and data systems, networks, and wireless. This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management. The technician must have technical proficiency in structured cabling and installation of total integrated voice and data systems, key systems, networks, and wireless. Responsibilities include completing any additions, removals, changes, upgrades, and maintenance to service contracts, performing installations and maintenance of equipment, and engineering new projects. The technician will also manage inventory of assigned tools, ensure all tools are current on calibration, and submit ECR or Red Line for any changes that would alter work items, assignments, and/or specifications. They must be proficient in writing and presenting a method of procedure for customer approval and stage all equipment while inventorying material for accuracy.
