As a Commercial Security Installation Technician II, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and configuring commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients. This includes door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, and signaling devices. You will troubleshoot new security installations to ensure they function properly and meet code requirements. Additionally, you will supervise Installation Technician I’s as assigned by the Installation Manager, drive to client sites using a company-issued vehicle, and perform system installations while confirming that the systems operate effectively and meet contract requirements. Your responsibilities will also include running electrical wiring, drilling, trenching, and aerial runs, as well as connecting control panels, ensuring wire concealment, and installing security software. Miscellaneous tasks such as job-site clean-up will also be part of your duties.
