The Installation Support Technician role at Essintial Enterprise Solutions involves providing technical support and installation services for network and PC infrastructure.   • Run, terminate, and test CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables according to industry standards.
  • Install and configure network and PC type hardware.
  • Drill and securely mount speakers and other equipment as required.
  • Safely work on ladders to install and maintain equipment at heights.
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware troubleshooting, replacements, and other support tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including cable runs, installations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Proven experience in running CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables, and installing network hardware.
  • Must provide own tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work on ladders and overhead installations.
  • Basic understanding of network and PC installation processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Knowledge of safety practices related to working with electrical equipment, ladders, and power tools.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or similar.
  • Previous experience in a similar hands-on IT support role.
  • Temporary full-time work until 5/5/2025.
  • Competitive pay rate of $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
